Last week at São Paulo, we had the seventh edition of QCon SP. This year, we had more than 800 attendees and over 100 speakers to discuss Java, Microservices, DevOps, Big Data, UX, IoT, and other major topics in professional software development.
As a Program Committee member and responsible for three conference tracks, I had the opportunity to invite some awesome speakers to talk in my tracks and I'm really proud of the final schedule:
I also presented a talk in Java/JVM track, talking about how OO Design Patterns had changed with Functional Programming: "Refactoring to Patterns em Java 8". See the slides and video on InfoQ Web Site. (pt-br)
I would like to thank everyone that put their effort to travel to São Paulo and help us to organize an awesome conference. Thanks! :)
